At the Digital Competitiveness Summit 2022, IMD hosted an evening of rich discussions about the 2022 World Digital Competitiveness Ranking results with a special emphasis on Switzerland’s performance, and the trials and tribulations behind regulating the digital world.

Keynote speakers were Professor of Finance and Director of the IMD World Competitiveness Center Arturo Bris and Johannes Rühl, Lead Negotiator for Digital Trade (WTO), the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs SECO.

David Bach, IMD Dean of Innovation and Programs and Professor of Strategy and Political Economy, opened the evening and a panel discussion, led by Marc Walder, Founder of digitalswitzerland and CEO of Ringier, saw Melissa Finocchio, Chief Regulatory Officer at SOPHiA GENETICS and Edouard Bugnion, Vice-President of EPFL, join the conversation, offering unique industry insights.
